Over 13 years, Simon Schläpfer has trained hundreds of people from Switzerland, Austria and Germany to become wrappers and window tinters. The CARFOIL. Academy is his workshop knowledge: as an Online-Academy for self-study and as training with practice days in Dozwil.

Fulltime training: final prices, exempt from VAT. Payment 100 % in advance at no extra charge, 2 instalments with a 3 % or 3 instalments with a 5 % surcharge. Practice days in small groups of 2 to 5 participants.
Do I need prior knowledge?
No. Both paths start with the basics: films, tools, technique. If you already have experience, you skip nothing, but you progress faster.
Can I do the training alongside my job?
Yes. The Online-Academy takes 3 to 5 hours per week, and access lasts 6 months. On site it is 2, 3 or 5 practice days, which we plan together after your registration.
Can I pay in instalments?
For the Fulltime training, yes: 100 % in advance at no extra charge, 2 instalments with a 3 % surcharge or 3 instalments with a 5 % surcharge, selectable in the registration form. The Foundation programmes will soon be available to order directly through the shop. With instalments, the practice days take place after full payment.
Who issues the certificate?
The CARFOIL. Academy. You receive it after the practice days on site, once you have shown what you learned in the Online-Academy. It is a certificate of the Academy, not a state-recognised vocational qualification.
I want to send an employee or come as a pair.
The invoice can be made out to the company; the registration form has a Company field for this. You put a second person down in the same form, at a reduced price. The amounts are listed on the Fulltime page.
What happens if I move from the Foundation programme to the training?
The purchase price is credited in full towards the matching Fulltime training within 90 days. You keep the book and tool set, they are not sent twice. The training includes the same ones.
Can I withdraw after registering?
For the Fulltime training, yes: a voluntary right of return within 7 calendar days of the invoice date, by email. The Foundation programmes cannot be exchanged because the course is fully open straight away.
When do the practice days take place?
The 2026 training dates are complete. For 2027 we keep a waiting list: sign up, we get in touch as soon as the practice dates are fixed, and you decide at your own pace. Places are limited to 15 participants per programme and year.
In which language?
Training language German: the practice days in Dozwil are held in German. The Online-Academy is in German; English video versions are being added continuously.
